A dental crown is used as a cosmetic adjustment, to cover an implant, or to protect a tooth from cracking/breakage. The crown fits completely over the tooth, shaping around it.

The procedure requires 2 dentistry sessions – the first visit is for an exam, and preparation for placement of a permanent crown. This will include establishing a temporary crown. During the final visit, the temporary crown will be removed and a permanent crown fixed into place.

Patients will still need to follow a healthy dental hygiene routine given to you by one of our Centennial dentists to protect the tooth that is still there, under the new crown.

Feel free to give us a call if yuu need a dental crown!
